I though the list of recent stuff would be longer. I think I need a vacation O_o Although I DO have some news. Michael and Saira are having a boy due January 9th.

We also got a phone call from Jason, who is now pretty well situated in Germany. He'll be going to the Ukraine for a few weeks though. He said he gets to drive a hummer! ^_^ He's met a girl named Mandy, and he's quite smitten I think. I even got to talk to her for a few minutes today. She seems very nice.

So it seems I have nothing to rant about. Life is as usual...perhaps even a little better. Weather is cooling off finally, so that's nice. I think summer is officially over. WOOHOO!

Anywho, I think I'll go post at the Tomb now.

Also, I've been busy with work. I also got to volunteer for habitat for humanity. It was an awesome experience, and I am glad I was a part of it.

I also said that other than that, nothing is new. I still can't sleep, and I STILL have to be up early for work O_o
So, I am off to bed. After writing that long post and losing it, I just don't have the energy to rewrite it, so you get the condensed version. More when I have slept...

Okay, so I've taken a bit of a hiatus from my blog here. Not an intentional one mind you, but a hiatus nonetheless.

I have managed to get a few things done though, of which I am very proud. I finally put in my application at the local college, and I scheduled the tests I have to take to enroll. By January I should be well on my way to a college education. My "good-enough-diploma" will only get me so far in life, you see. Now I am thinking about tests and test anxiety and the prospects of remedial classes. *blah*
Though I am sure I am up to anything college can throw at me, I probably won't rest until I get scores back to prove to myself once and for all that I am not an idiot. ^_^

I've also been thinking about career goals. Ever since childhood I just assumed my career would come to me...a sudden quickening of understanding and knowledge that I was destined to be ___________ (fill in the blank)

As you can probably guess, this miraculous event has yet to occur. So now I have gone the way of the not-so-great in my mediocre declaration of the "undeclared major" *dun dun dun!*

So we shall see how it unfolds.

Other than that, I've been working. Please contain your surprised gasps. ^_~
