My Sensei was a longtime student of Tohei Sensei, who also made frequent visits to our dojo before he passed away. While warming up, Sensei sat down next Klara and I and asked how many hours we had. aha! I knew I couldn't evade the testing question indefinitely. I told him I didn't honestly know how many hours I had. He grinned and said he'd be counting up my time, reminding me testing was in August. Dena and I went out for lunch today, and much to our disappointment and dismay, none of the hibachi places were open. Why? 2-5, no sushi for liz and Dena. :( Luckily, we were saved by our regular haunt-- China Dragon. The women there know us pretty well as the silly girls who drink sake and eat sushi. This is only my second weekend class, but I already prefer the weeknight classes.The AM classes are about an hour, and I usually feel rushed through the techniques.
